Art Video Screening is an artist-run and non-profit initiative run by Jonas Nilsson and Eva Olsson, it's an international event and platform focusing on video art and aims to support artists work.

It started 2005 when we saw the need for such event in Sweden based on our own experience of finding opportunities for showing our own video works. Art Video Screening doesn't have its own screening location, but is instead collaborating with other culture organizers.

Once a year artists are able to sumitt new video works for three different evening-screenings, which is the base for Art Video Screening's activity. Beside these screenings there are also extra screenings there videos are selected from Art Video Screening’s video archive.

Our screenings are not based on themes, insted we like to show a broad variety of what video art is.

Art Video Screening is open for new ways of showing video art and collaborations.
