Who We Are
Location;
We are located in San Luis, CO, the oldest town in Colorado. Our gallery and print press shop is on Main Street, across from R&R Market. You can find a map of where we are on our contact page. To learn more about San Luis, CO click here.

Mission Statement;
Ventero Open Press is a non-profit organization, benefiting art education in the San Luis Valley. Designed to give back to the next generation of artists by providing scholarships, art supplies and financial support. Offering art related jobs to youths, seniors and professional artists, and filling an important role in the community.


Accomplishments
Ventero Open Press has been open since April 2007. We are very proud of the accomplishments that we have made in that short amount of time.

1. Obtained funding to open the Press and received 4 grants
2.Received excellent press coverage for opening and special events
3. Recruited Board of Directors and advisors
4.Started building partnerships with Adams State College in Alamosa, Centennial School in San Luis, and Centauri High School in La Jara.
5.Obtained 501(c)(3) and Enterprise Zone Status
6.Distributed art supplies to 250 elementary and high school students in August of 2007 (just 4 months after opening). Collaborated with the Colorado Parents Coalition and Centennial School.
7.Participated in Rural Philanthropy Days. Made presentations for philanthropists.
8.Developed relationship with Alamosa Live Music Association. Held Senegalese musicians concert and jam session in November 2007.
9.Mentored student artists in classes
10.Established working relationship with Rocky Mountain SER and Seniors, Inc. resulting in two part-time staff members.

Espresso Bar;
Ventero Open Press also has an espresso bar located inside. We serve Raven's Brew Coffee and have their products for sale. So come in and get a cup of coffee or a specialty drink.

We are a non-profit fine art print making facility and gallery in San Luis, Colorado. We also have an espresso bar located inside our gallery. The revenue that is generated here goes to helping fund the arts and cultural activities in the San Luis Valley.
