News of Our Whereabouts
At the end of April 2004, Hallwalls moved out of Tri-Main Center, our home for more than a decade, bidding a fond farewell to our landlord of the preceding ten-and-a-half years, Tri-Main Development, and all our neighbors and collaborators at Tri-Main Center. We are proud to have played a significant role in the phenomenal success of that rehabilitation of the former Trico plant, and we wish continued productivity and prosperity to all the individual artists, arts organizations, other nonprofits, and businesses large and small that joined us there over the intervening years and continue to call Tri-Main Center their home.

Permanent Mailing Address, Effective Now
341 Delaware Avenue
Buffalo, New York 14202
Phone: (716) 854-1694 Fax: (716) 854-1696
(This IS the address of the former church. Though we have not yet physically moved into the building, which is still under construction, it is our mailing address effective now, and will remain so without interruption in the future. Mail sent now to 341 Delaware Avenue will find us where we are temporarily headquartered.)

Temporary Field Office
Meanwhile, you can find us physically in our temporary field office directly across the street from the church at 338-340 Delaware Avenue, through the recessed doorway just to the left of 344, and just to the right of the Preservation Coalition. From that vantage point, we can monitor the progress of the church renovation on a daily basis, start making new friends in the neighborhood, and also carry on our work of fundraising and planning the exciting exhibitions and events with which we will kick off not only our grand reopening, but our 30th-anniversary season, in 2005.

Gallery Hours at 700 Main Street: Tuesday-Friday, 12 Noon-6:00 P.M.
For the next few months, through at least early April 2005, Hallwalls' visual arts exhibitions are taking place in a spacious temporary storefront gallery space on the ground floor of the EMI Building at 700 Main Street (whose 4th and 2nd floors were Hallwalls' home from 1980-1993), in the heart of Buffalo's downtown Theater District, between Studio Arena and Shea's. In addition, music, film, video, and literary events will take place at several alternative downtown venues, including the Market Arcade Film & Arts Centre, Soundlab, and the Colored Musicians Club.
