| Title : Filter and a mill, 4.1m x 12m x H 3m Materials : wood, plastic nonwoven This building for the installation is an ex wheelhouse, it is used as a warehouse now. This building is more than 100 years old. But nostalgia which it has is not needed for this installation. There is an old water mill and many present tools and more in the building. This installation is based on this situation- the old building as a present warehouse. Four walls were set in the building, and those walls separate the room, make 5 rooms. Those walls are made by wooden frames and nonwoven. Through the nonwoven, it is possible to see the next room subtly. Each wall has a gate - 65cm width : 140cm height - and also some windows - 77cm width : 5cm height-. On the floor, there are many typical stuff. It is dusty and has spider web. Those tools are not working now, but they are keeping potential to work. |
